Colorati: Defined

Naming our company was no easy process. We went through rounds and rounds of spreadsheets, design mockups and one thousand conversations with friends: “Hey what do you think about this name?”

Q: So how did we come up with Colorati? And what does it mean?

A: I was on an airplane and the name just came to me.

I was familiar with the site Technorati and the terms Illuminati and Literati. If I understood this suffix, it only meant one thing: I found our name. A quick bit of research confirmed that “-rati” means “the intelligentsia or elite of that particular group.”

True- we pride ourselves in professional Raw processing and color correction. Like it real-to-life? Or hypersaturated and ultra-contrasty? Either way, we do it exactly as you want it.

But our service goes well beyond color. We have completed the most technical retouching orders for wedding, fashion and portrait photographers.

We have designed countless wedding album designs.

Whatever your needs are for post-production, we can help. Grab our full price guide PDF here for complete info.

Cheers!
